KW Suspension

KW coil-over kits are considered the epitome for premium products in suspension tuning. Founded in Murrhardt, Germany in 1992, KW Automotive (originally KW Tuning) developed its first coil-over kit in 1995. That year it became the first company to receive approval of an entire suspension system by the TUV (the German technical inspection organization). At that point the company had just three employees toiling in a small, 1600 sq. ft. workspace. Today, KW Automotive has more than 200 employees in five locations that have a combined 250,000 sq. ft.

In addition to engineering and building high-quality suspension products for street and track cars, KW develops racing solutions for national and international motorsports. In fact, the KW Competition racing program is successfully used by numerous racing teams on many race tracks around the world.

KW Automotive is also a partner of many high-performance and motorsports teams, including Mercedes-AMG, Roush Performance and the Chrysler Viper SRT10 ACR, a limited-edition race car which has 600 hp and a KW coil-over suspension. It is this high level of understanding and experience that KW brings to the design of its coil-over kits for BMWs and MINIs.
