Sound Advice For Your Performance
Exhaust Upgrade
We recorded
the sounds of three different free-flow exhaust systems on our project
car (a 1999 323i, pictured above sporting a Tri-Flo exhaust), as well
as the sound of the original factory exhaust.
Note: The '99 323i
has two resonators upstream of the muffler which deaden the exhaust note
a little before it reaches the muffler. Depending on the configuration
of the factory exhaust system on your BMW these exhausts may sound slightly
different and/or a little louder, but this should give you a good idea
as to how each system compares to the others.
