Alan Alan Pierce
Al is one of the senior phone reps here at Bavarian Autosport, having been with the company since 1990. Over the years, Al has owned a variety of BMWs, including a 1989 325is in which he installed a 1995 M3 engine! He currently drives a 1995 M3... and a 2000 328ci... and a 2001 330ci and a 1996 318ti... all of which have had some form of suspension upgrade. Al performs all the maintenance on these vehicles himself, making him extremely familiar with several operating systems. His enthusiasm for performance vehicles doesn't end with cars -- he's also an avid biker; his current ride is a 2006 BMW K1200S. Al can be reached at extension 1242 or at AlanP@BavAuto.com

Andy D. Andy Douglass
Andy began his career at Bavarian Autosport in 2005. Well... that's when we started to pay him to show up. Prior to that, he was a regular lunchtime visitor to our showroom, where he nursed his passion for BMWs by discussing, shopping for, buying and installing parts on his various Bimmers. After many years of working in the graphic arts, Andy decided to shift gears, change careers and pursue his passion for BMWs by helping other enthusiasts identify and order the parts they needed for their Bimmers. Andy has owned and worked on a 1973 2002 tii, a 1983 528e and his current ride, a 1990 325is. "I love this car! I never want to get rid of it," says Andy. (Though you might be able to tempt him into a trade for a 1967 1600 GT.) Outside of work, Andy enjoys cooking and photography. (A poster-sized print of a shot he took when he attended Show & Shine 1999 hangs in our sales conference room.) Andy can be reached at extension 1258 or AndyD@BavAuto.com

Bob W. Bob Weeks
Bob became a Bavarian Autosport employee in September of 1997. For the first five years of his tenure here, he worked in sales – both as a phone rep and in the showroom – helping BMW enthusiasts figure out what parts they needed for their Bimmers. Three years ago, his friendly, patient and thorough manner in dealing with customers earned him an invitation to join the Customer Service team. He now spends the majority of his time assisting Bavarian Autosport customers who have questions about product usage, installation, order changes, etc. Bob has owned a 1984 318i (in which he put a 325i motor and drive train) as well as two different 1976 2002s. His interests outside work include motorcycles (he hopes to make a bike his next purchase), hiking, fishing and hunting. Bob must like his job very much – he commutes to Portsmouth from his home in Enfield, NH, more than 100 miles away. (No wonder he wants a bike!) Bob can be reached at extension 1268 or at BobW@BavAuto.com

Chris Mars Chris Mars
After 10 years as a Bavarian Autosport customer, fixing his own BMWs, Chris joined us as a phone rep in January of 2007. Prior to that, he had all kinds of mechanical and parts experience: purchaser for a commercial HVAC service company; service coordinator at a motorcycle/ATV/Sea-Doo dealership; and reconditioning boats on Lake Winnipesaukee. In fact, Chris is originally from the NH lakes region, and he goes back there whenever he has a chance. You can usually find him either floating on his boat or working on his current ride, a '89 325is. He has also owned and worked on an '84 325e and a '92 325ic. He'd trade them all in a heartbeat for his favorite BMW, the E64 M6. (Well, maybe not his boat... the M6 doesn't float too well.) 1266 or at ChrisM@BavAuto.com

Dan F. Dan Frigulietti
Customer Service Manager Dan Frigulietti (pronounced “Frij–u–LET– ee”), has been into cars and motorcycles since he was a kid. After high school, he joined the Air Force and worked the flight line as a C-130 mechanic. Upon graduating the University of New Hampshire, Dan joined Bavarian Autosport in June of 1991 as a Sales/Customer Service Rep. Over the years he has owned a slew of BMWs (79 323i, 86 325es, 94 525i, 96 328i). His current BMW is a 2002 1150 GS motorcycle. "Yes, it's being modified," says Dan, "for dual sport touring." Fortunately, many of the manufacturers who make upgrades for Bimmers -- including Remus, Schnitzer, PIAA and K&N -- also make upgrades for Beemers. (Does that distinction sound familiar? It was Dan who came up with the concept for the Bimmer vs. Beemer t-shirt we sell.) Dan is also in search of his next Bimmer, a 5 series 97 thru 03. Dan can be reached at at extension 1246 or at DanF@BavAuto.com

Danny G. Danny Gimenez
Danny first started working at Bavarian Autosport in 2004. In 2006 he took a brief detour as a civil servant for the state of Florida, but missed the NH weather so much (yeah, right), he rejoined us in 2007. We're glad he did! Danny brings a wealth of automotive knowledge to his job. His love for things motorized began with his first motorcycle ride at age 4. (He owned his first motorbike at age 6!) Before coming to Bavarian he worked in several speed shops, a body shop, a few race prep garages and a VW parts company. BMWs he has owned include a '95 M3 Lightweight, a '91 535i and an '01 330xi, and he has worked on a slew of other chassis. He has also owned an '81 DeLorean, '74 914 widebody, '88 Scirocco, '84 Alfa GTV6, '88 RX7 turbo, '96 Mitsubishi evo IV RS, and a host of others -- about 25-30 cars in all. When asked what his favorite BMW is, Danny replies, "The M1, even with its poor interior... though the 335xi sounds like it could be lots of fun." When he's not at work, Danny enjoys photography, visiting art museums in Boston and NYC, long trips on back roads (e.g. Vancouver to LA, Boston to Miami) and mountain biking. Danny can be reached at extension 1243 or at DannyG@BavAuto.com
Drew L. Drew Livengood
Drew joined Bavarian Autosport in late November of 2006. Prior to that, he had worked for six years in car audio sales and installation. His current ride is a nicely customized 02 Mitsubishi Lancer... which Drew is selling so he can move into a 3 series 99 thru 06. (Hopefully an M3, which is his favorite.) During his audio days, Drew worked on just about every model BMW. He has also turned a wrench or two on the steering, suspension, water pump, belts, fuel injector seals and other areas of a 3 series 84 thru 91. In addition to working at BavAuto, Drew is completing his Associates Degree in Business at night and plans to go for his Bachelors degree after that. As a kid, Drew was a "rink rat", hanging around the ice hockey rink whenever he could. He still plays recreational hockey during the winter months, golf when it's warm, and pool year round. Drew is also a huge fan of both the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. (He recently moved into the cubicle next to Ian, who is a die-hard Colts fan... We've ordered a taller divider.) Drew can be reached at extension 1246 or at DrewL@BavAuto.com

Gordon Gordon Arnold
Gordon grew up in the Motor City (Detroit). In fact, his first real job was on the engine assembly line at Ford's original manufacturing plant. His love for internal combustion started with repairing his neighbors' lawn mowers, which then grew into hot-rodding go-karts and mini-bikes, and eventually to owning, building and driving high-horsepower hot rods, frequenting Woodward Ave, and other Detroit area cruising venues. Gordon joined Bavarian Autosport in June of 1991. Since then he has owned a long string of BMWs, including multiple 3 series thru 91 (several Euros among them), and many 5 series thru 88, including an M5. He now has his entire, extended family driving BMWs – 9 in all! In addition to being Sales Manager here, Gordon is often asked to contribute to the Tech columns in Bimmer and Roundel, is a past-president of the BMW CCA White Mountain chapter and attends CCA driver schools at New Hampshire International Speedway. Gordon can be reached at extension 1241 or at GordonA@BavAuto.com

Ian Ian Nersesian
Ian has been with Bavarian Autosport since 2002. He came to the company after more than two years of service at a well-respected BMW dealership here in New England. Over the years, Ian has owned quite a few 3 series and has worked on just about all other BMW models. A couple of years ago -- in a move that still has us shaking our heads -- he bought a black 2003 Chevy Silverado V8 pick-up on which he put 22 inch wheels and Pirelli Scorpion PZero tires. (He needed them for the amateur drag races he used to enter at the local track. Thankfully, he traded that truck in... for another '03 Silverado V8!) As you might imagine, Ian performs all the mods on his own cars and has a good working knowledge of all automotive systems. Ian can be reached at extension 1251 or IanN@BavAuto.com

Jon B. Jon Broome
Jon (or J.J.B. as he is known around here) has been involved in the automotive parts industry since he was 18. How many years is that? He’d rather not say, but he did tell us that he became a Bavarian Autosport phone rep in 1996, making him one of the most experienced members of our team. Over the years, Jon has owned and worked on a wide variety of BMWs: a 1984 533i, a 1987 535is (that one was really sweet!), a 1972 2002, a 1985 325e and a 1988 325e. His current ride is a 1989 325i. In addition to helping hundreds of BMW and MINI owners to upgrade, maintain and repair their cars every week, Jon is constantly on the lookout for new products that make owning and driving a BMW more enjoyable. Jon can be reached at 1257 or at JonB@BavAuto.com

Matt M. Matt Moore
Matt, a key member of our Customer Service team, joined Bavarian Autosport in 1998. Prior to that he worked for three years as an Assistant Store Manager for VIP Discount Auto, and for six years as an installer at Montgomery Ward’s Auto Express. He studied automotive trades in high school and criminal justice in college. Matt’s current ride is an 87 325e. He also owns two classic motorcycles – an 83 Honda Nighthawk 750 and a 72 Honda CL350. His favorite BMW to date is the 99 750il he piloted on a Drive for the Cure from Stratham, NH, to upstate NY. “It was love at first ride,” says Matt. Not only is it a joy to drive, he adds, it can almost hold his entire family, which includes his wife (a former Bavarian Autosport employee), three daughters (the oldest of whom just started working at Bavarian Autosport in August) and 2-year-old son. In his spare time (Spare time?! With four kids, who has spare time?!), Matt enjoys model rocketry, video racing games, music and using his telescope to study astronomy. Matt can be reached at extension 1248 or MattM@BavAuto.com

Mike B. Mike Bailey
This is Mike’s second term of employment with Bavarian Autosport. He started with the company in June 2002, working behind the counter in the showroom. He left in September 2003 for (quoting here), “what I thought were greener pastures.” A few months later, Mike asked to come back to Bavarian Autosport. (And we were glad to get him back... his knowledge of automotive parts is surpassed only by his incredibly cheerful attitude.) For as long as he can remember, he’s been into cars. Growing up, he used to help his uncle work on trucks, tractors or one of his many race cars. Before coming to Bavarian Autosport, Mike worked in the parts departments at several import car dealerships. He’s always loved BMWs and jumped at the opportunity to be working around them on a daily basis. His current project car is a 1985 Chevy Camaro IROC-Z, but his dream car is a 95–99 M3 Coupe. (A little fond of horsepower, eh, Mike?) Mike can be reached at extension 1247 or at MikeB@BavAuto.com

Mike U. Mike Ury
This is Mike's second stint with Bavarian Autosport. He first started with the company in July of 2002, worked for two years until July 2004, took a leave of absence for two years, then returned to us in July 2006. Prior to joining Bavarian, Mike was a professional mechanic for 17 years -- ASE Certified Master Technician and SAAB Master Technician -- working in several area dealerships and independent repair shops specializing in foreign cars. His last technician job was as Assistant Service Manager at a local SAAB dealer. Over those 17 years, Mike worked on almost every BMW model at one time or another. He currently owns a fully restored and modified 1967 Mercury Cougar XR-7, a highly accessorized 1992 SAAB 900s, an almost mint 1970 Ford F100 Short Bed Ranger Sport Deluxe full-sized pick-up truck, and his latest acquisition -- a brand new 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata Touring model. He also owns a boat (1966 Larson 16' All American with an 80hp Johnson outboard) and a motorcycle (2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 750). "I enjoy tinkering with anything that burns gas," says Mike, stating the obvious. He also loves to travel -- he traveled all over Europe in the summer of 1994. When he was on his leave of absence from Bavarian Autosport, he drove his SAAB across the U.S.... twice! Mike holds a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from the Whittimore School at the University of New Hampshire. He hopes someday to own an M Roadster or M3 convertible. (Either of those would be great for your third cross-country trip, Mike!) Mike can be reached at extension 1267 or at MikeU@BavAuto.com

Rob G. Rob Gibney
Tired of the long hours he worked as a sous chef in a fine dining establishment in Maine, Rob decided to pursue his other passion – BMWs. He started at Bavarian Autosport in May of 2001 and hasn’t looked back. He is now a valued member of our Customer Service team. Rob has owned a ‘79 320/6, an ‘80 320i and an ‘86 325e. His big project car was a 1983 320i into which he stuffed an ‘87 325i 2.5 liter engine he had modified with a 524td forged crankshaft, custom oversized pistons and aluminum flywheel. The head was ported and polished, the stock cam was replaced with a 288 Schrick cam, and the injection system was replaced with three Weber downdraft carburetors. For the exhaust, he installed Bavarian Autosport headers that mated to a 3" single pipe system in the rear. The suspension used Bavarian Autosport springs, Bilstein sport shocks/struts and Bavarian Autosport stress bars front and rear. He also uses our Ultimate brake rotors, front and rear. His current ride is a 1980 323i. Rob can be reached at extension 1264 or RobG@BavAuto.com

Will T. William Taylor
One of the newer members of the Bavarian Autosport team, William joined us in March of 2008 after serving as a paratrooper with the 173rd Airborne Brigade in Italy and Afghanistan. While he's no longer on active duty, William still serves his country as an infantry squad leader in the NH Army National Guard. What prompted him to sign on with Bavarian? Call it love at first drive -- William is the proud owner of a 2006 MINI Cooper S, his first BMW. Soon after he bought the car, he began to make modifications to it, which brought him into our showroom. One thing led to another and soon William was on the phone helping both BMW and MINI owners figure out which parts they needed. What does he like to do when he's not here answering the phones, or out on maneuvers with the Guard? "The fall and the winter are my favorite seasons," says William. "I love sports and am an avid skier." He's also pretty handy with a camera, having done some photography work in the past. And while William loves his Cooper S, his dream Bimmer is an M coupe. (Z3 or Z4, it doesn't matter.) That makes perfect sense to us: given how it must feel to launch yourself out of an airplane thousands of feet in the air, the G-forces you can generate by launching an M coupe are about as close as you can legally get to the same feeling of exhilaration down here on the ground. Will can be reached at extension 1262 or WilliamT@BavAuto.com
